We are a local group of The Ramblers, based in south-east Derbyshire and established in 1981
Under normal circumstances, we organise walks on alternate Sundays (8 to 10 miles), alternate Mondays (6 to 7 miles), alternate Thursdays (5 to 6 miles), and on alternate Saturdays too (4 to 5 miles).
We also hold a series of short walks (3 to 4 miles) on Wednesday mornings, which are ideal for those new to walking or trying to get back into walking.

local area and beyond, lead by experienced walk leaders. We are a friendly bunch of like minded
people who enjoy the many benefits of walking in the open air. Our Footpath Secretary and Wardens work diligently to monitor and do minor cutting back on footpaths to help maintain Rights of Way in the Erewash area.
