About 25 walkers joined the 4 mile walk around Shardlow and it’s canal today. We managed to dodge the rain and had summer temperatures. Thanks to Sandra for leading and to Kaz amd Alan for the photos
We are a local group of The Ramblers,
based in south-east Derbyshire, established in 1981. We organise group walks in the
local area and beyond, lead by experienced walk leaders. We are a friendly bunch of like minded
people who enjoy the many benefits of walking in the open air. Our Footpath Secretary and Wardens work diligently to monitor and do minor cutting back on footpaths to help maintain Rights of Way in the Erewash area.
