Today's Wednesday Walk - 27 walkers set off from the Queens Head, to undertake the Ockbrook Circular. Thanks to Alan B for leading. Weather wet to start, then dry but warm and very humid. Post-walk refreshments at the Queens Head.
We are a local group of The Ramblers,
based in south-east Derbyshire, established in 1981. We organise group walks in the
local area and beyond, lead by experienced walk leaders. We are a friendly bunch of like minded
people who enjoy the many benefits of walking in the open air. Our Footpath Secretary and Wardens work diligently to monitor and do minor cutting back on footpaths to help maintain Rights of Way in the Erewash area.
