Today's Wednesday Walk, lead ably by Alan B, saw 27 walkers and 2 dogs set off from Pit Lane for a circuit of Shipley County Park. Weather warm and cloudy. No rain. Post walk refreshments at the Shipley Garden Centre and the Munday Arms.
We are a local group of The Ramblers,
based in south-east Derbyshire, established in 1981. We organise group walks in the
local area and beyond, lead by experienced walk leaders. We are a friendly bunch of like minded
people who enjoy the many benefits of walking in the open air. Our Footpath Secretary and Wardens work diligently to monitor and do minor cutting back on footpaths to help maintain Rights of Way in the Erewash area.
