Today's Wednesday Walk- around 25 walkers left Greasley Church to traverse around Colliers Wood, Beauvale and Moorgreen. Warm, cloudy and breezy morning. Thanks to Alan B for leading. Post walk refreshments in the Church Tea rooms and the Horse & Groom.
We are a local group of The Ramblers,
based in south-east Derbyshire, established in 1981. We organise group walks in the
local area and beyond, lead by experienced walk leaders. We are a friendly bunch of like minded
people who enjoy the many benefits of walking in the open air. Our Footpath Secretary and Wardens work diligently to monitor and do minor cutting back on footpaths to help maintain Rights of Way in the Erewash area.
