Today's Wednesday Walk - A warm but overcast morning saw 24 walkers and 3 dogs trek from Strelley to Swingate and Kimberley. Thanks to Alan B for leading. Post-walk refreshments in the Mulberry Tree Cafe and the Broad Oak PH.
We are a local group of The Ramblers,
based in south-east Derbyshire, established in 1981. We organise group walks in the
local area and beyond, lead by experienced walk leaders. We are a friendly bunch of like minded
people who enjoy the many benefits of walking in the open air. Our Footpath Secretary and Wardens work diligently to monitor and do minor cutting back on footpaths to help maintain Rights of Way in the Erewash area.
