Today's Wednesday Walk - 25 walkers braved the relentless sunshine and heat, and the significant number of stiles, to undertake the 3.5 mile Risley-Breaston Circular. Mid-point hydration break and post-walk refreshments at the Navigation Inn. Thanks to Debbie for leading and welcome to her friend, Richard, who joined us today.
We are a local group of The Ramblers,
based in south-east Derbyshire, established in 1981. We organise group walks in the
local area and beyond, lead by experienced walk leaders. We are a friendly bunch of like minded
people who enjoy the many benefits of walking in the open air. Our Footpath Secretary and Wardens work diligently to monitor and do minor cutting back on footpaths to help maintain Rights of Way in the Erewash area.
