Today's Wednesday Walk. Alan B lead 23 walkers and 2 dogs from Ockbrook to Spondon, and back. Weather changeable, but no rain until we reached the Queens Head at the end of the walk.
We are a local group of The Ramblers,
based in south-east Derbyshire, established in 1981. We organise group walks in the
local area and beyond, lead by experienced walk leaders. We are a friendly bunch of like minded
people who enjoy the many benefits of walking in the open air. Our Footpath Secretary and Wardens work diligently to monitor and do minor cutting back on footpaths to help maintain Rights of Way in the Erewash area.
