Sunday's 8 mile walk from Mappleton near Ashbourne to Fenny Bentley and Thorpe on a weekend with spring in the air and signs that the long wet winter may be coming to an end - thanks to Brian M for leading and Raman for the pics.
We are a local group of The Ramblers,
based in south-east Derbyshire, established in 1981. We organise group walks in the
local area and beyond, lead by experienced walk leaders. We are a friendly bunch of like minded
people who enjoy the many benefits of walking in the open air. Our Footpath Secretary and Wardens work diligently to monitor and do minor cutting back on footpaths to help maintain Rights of Way in the Erewash area.
