Today's Wednesday Walk, saw Alan B lead 28 intrepid walkers from Ockbrook to Borrowash and back, taking in the Moravian Settlement and the Ock Brook park. Weather was cold and icy, sun just threatening to show at the start. Welcome to Anne, on her first walk with us. Post-walk refreshments at the Queens Head.
We are a local group of The Ramblers,
based in south-east Derbyshire, established in 1981. We organise group walks in the
local area and beyond, lead by experienced walk leaders. We are a friendly bunch of like minded
people who enjoy the many benefits of walking in the open air. Our Footpath Secretary and Wardens work diligently to monitor and do minor cutting back on footpaths to help maintain Rights of Way in the Erewash area.
