Today's Wednesday Walk. Just over 4 miles lead by Sara. Bright morning but with a biting wind. 24 walkers set off from Morley Hayes and routed to Brackley Gate, via Moor Lane and the golf courses at Breadsall and Morley.
We are a local group of The Ramblers,
based in south-east Derbyshire, established in 1981. We organise group walks in the
local area and beyond, lead by experienced walk leaders. We are a friendly bunch of like minded
people who enjoy the many benefits of walking in the open air. Our Footpath Secretary and Wardens work diligently to monitor and do minor cutting back on footpaths to help maintain Rights of Way in the Erewash area.
