Today's Wednesday walk, from Awsworth, around Kimberley, Watnall Green and Giltbrook. Bright morning but very cold and icy in places. 18 walkers and 3 dogs completed the 4 mile walk with post-walk refreshments in the Hogs Head pub. Thanks to Alan B for leading.
We are a local group of The Ramblers,
based in south-east Derbyshire, established in 1981. We organise group walks in the
local area and beyond, lead by experienced walk leaders. We are a friendly bunch of like minded
people who enjoy the many benefits of walking in the open air. Our Footpath Secretary and Wardens work diligently to monitor and do minor cutting back on footpaths to help maintain Rights of Way in the Erewash area.
