Today's Wednesday walk, preceding the AGM, saw 20 walkers set off from West Hallam and around the Brook Plantation before returning past Whitefurrows to the Village Hall. 4 miles in cloudy, cool conditions. Thanks to Alan B for leading. Welcome new walkers Belinda, Jack and (another) Alan.
We are a local group of The Ramblers,
based in south-east Derbyshire, established in 1981. We organise group walks in the
local area and beyond, lead by experienced walk leaders. We are a friendly bunch of like minded
people who enjoy the many benefits of walking in the open air. Our Footpath Secretary and Wardens work diligently to monitor and do minor cutting back on footpaths to help maintain Rights of Way in the Erewash area.
