Another Wednesday with early rain but clearing for today's walk from Bramcote Hills car park starting with a climb through the Bramcote woods and along an undulating section of the old Bramcote golf course before some street walking leading to the Nottingham canal followed towards Trowell returning again through the Bramcote Hills - 17 walkers led by Alan B with photos by Alan and Gill.
We are a local group of The Ramblers,
based in south-east Derbyshire, established in 1981. We organise group walks in the
local area and beyond, lead by experienced walk leaders. We are a friendly bunch of like minded
people who enjoy the many benefits of walking in the open air. Our Footpath Secretary and Wardens work diligently to monitor and do minor cutting back on footpaths to help maintain Rights of Way in the Erewash area.
