A wet start to the day but for the 17 walkers at Strelley Hall this morning a dry interlude allowed the walk to be completed in pleasant conditions with spells of sunshine at times - Strelley Park Farm, Swingate Village and the Water Tower were all en route with post walk refreshments at the Mulberry cafe and the Broadoak pub.
We are a local group of The Ramblers,
based in south-east Derbyshire, established in 1981. We organise group walks in the
local area and beyond, lead by experienced walk leaders. We are a friendly bunch of like minded
people who enjoy the many benefits of walking in the open air. Our Footpath Secretary and Wardens work diligently to monitor and do minor cutting back on footpaths to help maintain Rights of Way in the Erewash area.
