Today's Wednesday Walk - 20 of us set off from Chester Green, Derby, to walk up the River Derwent to the Nutwood Nature Reserve. Stopping on the way back at Darley Park cafe, where our chief photographer filled his face with ice cream. No doubt when he recovers he'll post the rest of his photos!!! Bon appetit, Alan!!!
We are a local group of The Ramblers,
based in south-east Derbyshire, established in 1981. We organise group walks in the
local area and beyond, lead by experienced walk leaders. We are a friendly bunch of like minded
people who enjoy the many benefits of walking in the open air. Our Footpath Secretary and Wardens work diligently to monitor and do minor cutting back on footpaths to help maintain Rights of Way in the Erewash area.
