oday's Wednesday walk. On a cloudy but dry morning, 27 walkers set off from Little Eaton village hall, on a deceptively hilly 4 mile route past Rigga Quarry, Park Farm and Eatonpark Wood. Thanks to Sandra for leading and welcome to new walkers, Julie and Claire.
We are a local group of The Ramblers,
based in south-east Derbyshire, established in 1981. We organise group walks in the
local area and beyond, lead by experienced walk leaders. We are a friendly bunch of like minded
people who enjoy the many benefits of walking in the open air. Our Footpath Secretary and Wardens work diligently to monitor and do minor cutting back on footpaths to help maintain Rights of Way in the Erewash area.
