Today's walk - generally sunny and warm, other than a cool breeze on the way back. 25 walkers set off from Morley Hayes for a 5 mile route taking in Morleymoor, Brackley Gate, Horsley Carr, Morley and crossing 2 golf courses. Thanks to Derek for leading.
We are a local group of The Ramblers,
based in south-east Derbyshire, established in 1981. We organise group walks in the
local area and beyond, lead by experienced walk leaders. We are a friendly bunch of like minded
people who enjoy the many benefits of walking in the open air. Our Footpath Secretary and Wardens work diligently to monitor and do minor cutting back on footpaths to help maintain Rights of Way in the Erewash area.
