Today's walk, a 4 mile route from Denby Pottery, with a John Flamsteed theme and a delightful coffee stop at the hidden gem of Dumbles Lake. 20ish walkers and 2 dogs enjoyed the sunny weather although there was a cool breeze at times. We are a local group of The Ramblers,
based in south-east Derbyshire, established in 1981. We organise group walks in the
local area and beyond, lead by experienced walk leaders. We are a friendly bunch of like minded
people who enjoy the many benefits of walking in the open air. Our Footpath Secretary and Wardens work diligently to monitor and do minor cutting back on footpaths to help maintain Rights of Way in the Erewash area.
