No sun this morning. Mist and a cool start for around 25 walkers, setting off from Bramcote Hills car park. Today's walk went over the hills and through Bramcote village, before going through Bluebell Woods, crossing the A52 at high level and descending into Stapleford. We are a local group of The Ramblers,
based in south-east Derbyshire, established in 1981. We organise group walks in the
local area and beyond, lead by experienced walk leaders. We are a friendly bunch of like minded
people who enjoy the many benefits of walking in the open air. Our Footpath Secretary and Wardens work diligently to monitor and do minor cutting back on footpaths to help maintain Rights of Way in the Erewash area.
