Today's "Two Lakes" walk saw 25 ramblers and 2 dogs set off from Parkside, Wollaton (and other locations!) to walk around Wollaton Park lake, then over to Nottingham University campus, and around Highfields Lake. Very sunny and decidedly warm. Coffee stop at Lakeside Arts Centre. Thanks to Stephen B for leading and photos.
We are a local group of The Ramblers,
based in south-east Derbyshire, established in 1981. We organise group walks in the
local area and beyond, lead by experienced walk leaders. We are a friendly bunch of like minded
people who enjoy the many benefits of walking in the open air. Our Footpath Secretary and Wardens work diligently to monitor and do minor cutting back on footpaths to help maintain Rights of Way in the Erewash area.
