Cloudy morning, with a cold northerly wind. 21 walkers set off from Greasley Church, for a walk around Colliers Wood, Moor Green and Beauvale. Post-walk refreshments at the Church tea rooms and the Horse & Groom. Thanks to Alan B for leading and Stephen B for the photos.
We are a local group of The Ramblers,
based in south-east Derbyshire, established in 1981. We organise group walks in the
local area and beyond, lead by experienced walk leaders. We are a friendly bunch of like minded
people who enjoy the many benefits of walking in the open air. Our Footpath Secretary and Wardens work diligently to monitor and do minor cutting back on footpaths to help maintain Rights of Way in the Erewash area.
