Today's walk from Risley on another grey and cold day set off south along the Derby Nomad way towards Draycott Fields farm before heading north for Hopwell Hall and a return to Risley - an excellent 22 walkers joined leader Alan SB for the 7.2 mile walk with photos by Raman
We are a local group of The Ramblers,
based in south-east Derbyshire, established in 1981. We organise group walks in the
local area and beyond, lead by experienced walk leaders. We are a friendly bunch of like minded
people who enjoy the many benefits of walking in the open air. Our Footpath Secretary and Wardens work diligently to monitor and do minor cutting back on footpaths to help maintain Rights of Way in the Erewash area.
