Great turn out of 31 walkers (and 1 dog) on this cool but bright morning. Setting out from The Queens Head and tramping the highways and byways of Ockbrook and Borrowash for around 4 miles. Refreshments back at the busy pub. Thanks to Alan B for leading and to Stephen B and Hazel for the photos.
We are a local group of The Ramblers,
based in south-east Derbyshire, established in 1981. We organise group walks in the
local area and beyond, lead by experienced walk leaders. We are a friendly bunch of like minded
people who enjoy the many benefits of walking in the open air. Our Footpath Secretary and Wardens work diligently to monitor and do minor cutting back on footpaths to help maintain Rights of Way in the Erewash area.
